Please read these terms and conditions carefully before committing to our Lay-Buy programme.
What is a Lay-Buy?
Buying your Best Beauty Box Ever on Lay-Buy means you enter into a contract with us to secure your box for you and to pay in several installments. You put a 50% deposit down, this secures your box for you until the balance of your box is paid off one month later.
You don't own the box or have it delivered until you make the final payment.
Our Lay-Buy Plan
You can choose to pay for your box via our Lay-Buy Plan. What this entails is:
You may cancel your order at any time, by notifying us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, with your order number.
All cancelled orders will incur a $25.00 service fee which will be deducted from any refund owed.
Any refund owed once the service fee is deducted will be refunded to your nominated account within 7 days.
When you pay for your Best Beauty Box Ever with our Lay-Buy Plan you will receive with your order confirmation
A copy of your Lay-Buy agreement including a description of the goods supplied.
A summary of your rights to cancel the agreement
Clarification of the cancellation fee should you subsequently cancel your Lay-Buy, and the amount charged.
We will not charge you any interest charges, membership fee or service fee on any Lay-Buy sales transaction. Lay-Buy Financial Pty trading as www.lay-buys.com charges 0.9% of the total order value at checkout which is a one off payment. The buyer will pay this amount to Lay-Buys at checkout time at time of paying the down payment. This fee is an admin fee and is therefore not refundable.
Keeping Track Of Payments
At any time you may request a record of your payment history by contacting us at email@example.com, including:
The amount you've paid
How much is owing
What the cancellation fee will be if you cancel the agreement
Cancelling your Lay-Buy
You can cancel your Lay-Buy at any time before you take possession of the goods.
To cancel your Lay-Buy please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number.
A NZ$25.00 cancellation fee will apply to all cancelled orders to cover;
The cost of storing and insuring the goods for you while they are on Lay-Buy
The limited quantities and high demand for the Beauty Boxes
The cancellation fee will be deducted from your first installment paid and the balance (if any) refunded to you.
If your first installment is not enough to cover the cancellation fee then we reserve the right to recover the balance from you.
The service fee charged by our Lay-Buy Partner of .09% is non refundable.
Cancellation of Lay-Buy due to breach of contract by Buyer
We reserve the right to cancel your Lay-Buy and charge you a cancellation fee if you breach the contract by not paying your final installment by the due date.
In such instances the following process will be followed:
You will receive an email from us notifying you of our intention to cancel the Lay-Buy.
In the notice you will be advised of;
The total amount of the sale
The amount of deposit paid
The amount outstanding
Cancellation charges payable under the agreement
Any amount owing to the buyer or seller under the terms of the Lay-Buy on the cancellation of the Lay-Buy.
The Lay-Buy is cancelled at the end of the period specified in the notice unless the buyer rectifies the breach before then.
Cancellation when a business closes or there are inventory issues.
We may also cancel the agreement if we cease trading or due to circumstances beyond our control the goods are no longer available and a suitable substitute is unavailable. In this instance no cancellation fee is applicable.
We will never increase the price of your Lay-Buy goods. But if you have a Beauty Box on Lay-Buy and the same item in our shop is reduced or has a bonus offer you are still bound by the original price as you have entered into a contract with us at that price.
If under such circumstances, you cancel your Lay-Buy and go to repurchase the same product at the discounted price, we reserve the right not to accept your order and ship the re-ordered product to you.
Damaged Boxes, or damaged products on delivery
If when you receive your box you discover that you have missing or damaged products please follow the process outlined in our Damages & Returns policy so the issue may be resolved for you.
